GOSSIPS
In whispered corners where secrets entwine,
Gossamer threads of tales, both yours and mine,
Gossips emerge, a dance of words in the air,
Spreading like wildfire, with none to spare.
Yet amidst the chaos, there's a lesson to learn,
For in gossips' flames, the truth may discern,
To wield words with care, a choice to make,
A path of kindness, not one to forsake.
Like autumn leaves carried by the breeze,
Gossips traverse, through branches and trees,
They twist and they turn, taking new shapes,
As truth becomes fiction, and facts reshape.
Oh, the power they hold, to build or destroy,
Lives entwined in their web, a deceptive ploy,
A word can be a dagger, cutting so deep,
Leaving scars unseen, secrets to keep.
Let's rise above whispers that tarnish and bruise,
Hold onto compassion, empathy infused,
For in the realm of gossips, we have a say,
To uplift and inspire, in a positive way.
So let us be cautious, our tongues to restrain,
Not indulge in rumors, in another's pain,
Instead, let's build bridges of trust and respect,
And let our words be a force to protect.
